A Celebration of Life for Zoey Elizabeth Moerer, age 2 years, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend David Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, November 4, 2016. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Zoey was born June 13, 2014, to Sean Moerer and Sara (Sampson) Moerer in Enid, and passed away November 1, 2016 in Enid.
Zoey was born with Lissencephaly, which is a rare brain disorder. This condition allowed the world to see how resilient a person she was going to be, fighting the whole way. Zoey enjoyed watching the fish in her parents’ aquarium, splashing in the water during her baths, and cuddling with her brother and her puppies. She was here on earth for a short time but will be in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her parents, Sean and Sara Moerer; brother, Zayden; paternal grandparents, Keith and DeeDee Brown, of Enid; grandfather, Timothy Adams of Enid; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Tricia Sampson, of Waukomis; paternal great-grandparents, Richard and Jackie Moerer, of Enid; maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Ellen Willson, of Enid; Gordon and Ilene Sampson, of Enid; an uncle, Anthony Adams, of Enid; an aunt, Samantha Sampson, of Waukomis; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family requests memorials in Zoey’s name be made toward funeral expenses with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
