Enid, OK - August 7, 2017 - Zoe Kids' Cafe's Meet and Greet and School Supply giveaway will be held on Tuesday, August 8 at 5:30pm at 729 E. Maine Ave. The Meet and Greet and school supply give away is open to everyone. There will be games, refreshments, and the community can learn about Kids' Cafe and sign-up if they would like.

Kids' Cafe is a non-profit after school program that serves children in pre-kindergarten to sixth grade. The children are picked up from a few area schools on program vans. Three days per week children receive a full meal and on the other two days children receive a snack. During the school year the program follows the local public school district schedule and is open on Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 5:30pm. In addition to providing meals to children to help alleviate child hunger, parents are offered a safe environment for their children to be involved in educational, recreational, social, and spiritual activities.

They predominately use youth volunteers in their program. The youth volunteer participation is another vital component of the program because the youth not only serve with their time and talents, but are trained and equipped with life skills as well. Each youth volunteer receives a small stipend each quarter as a part of the kids helping kids program.
