Zacarias Carranza Resendiz, 66, of Enid, passed away May 29, 2020. He was born November 5, 1953 in El Epazote Tasquillo, Hidalgo, Mexico to Juan Carranza Cruz and Lidia Resendiz Chavez. Zacarias

Zacarias Carranza Resendiz arrived in the United States in the 1970’s from Mexico. He worked hard as a farmer, and enjoyed taking care of his family. Zacarias also enjoyed boxing, and singing. He was a strong man and never gave up.

Zacarias is survived by his wife, Federica Munoz Trejo; children, German Carranza, Tomas Carranza, Alberto Carranza, Irene Carranza, Kodee Jo Carranza, Frankie Chavez Carranza, Nancy Carranza Chavez, Mike Carranza, Mayra Martinez Munoz; 22 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Martin Carranza Resendiz. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Carranza; mother, Elidia Resendiz Chavez; 3 brothers, 1 sister and 2 granddaughters.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2020 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel.
