Yolundrus V. Owens

Tuesday, October 31st, 1961 - Sunday, May 2nd, 2021

A Memorial Service for Yolundrus V. Owens will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, May 7, 2021 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Cody Anderson officiating. Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Yolundrus was born October 31, 1961 in Enid and passed away May 2, 2021. She was a proud mother to two children. She was an avid softball player, and she enjoyed fishing, camping, and trips to the river. Yolundrus enjoyed barbecuing, and having get togethers with friends and family. She retired from NORCE after 30 years of service. One thing Yolundrus loved more than her kids were her grandbabies. Reina, Ariana, Karter, Lincoln and Orion. She didn’t care who it was, ANYTIME she had one or more of them she would tell them about all her grandkids. Yolundrus loved to yell and holler at them when they would sneak in her room and get on her bed. She was always a shoulder to cry on for you if you needed. Yolundrus had a plate of food if you were hungry and anything else you needed, all you had to do was ask. She loved to take care of people and often put others’ needs before her own. That’s what makes her unique and a special person.

Yolundrus is survived by her son Clarence and his wife Morgan; grandchildren, Reina, Ariana, Karter, Lincoln, Orion; sister, Angie; brother, Adrail; a host of nieces, nephews, and many loving family members and friends.

Yolundrus is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shalynn; brother, Craig and sister, Ophelia.
