Celebration of Life Service for Willy Ray Ward, 66 of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Willy was born January 10, 1958, in Enid, OK to Frank and Betty Jo Pendergraft Ward and passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his home. He graduated from Pond Creek High School.
Willy married Sharon Jane LaRue on August 30, 1996 in Enid where they made their home.
He was a warehouse manager for drilling mud supply and a contract pumper prior to that.
Willy enjoyed camping, fishing and the occasional trip to the casino. His grandkids were the highlight of his day.
Willy was preceded in death by his parents and brother Eddie. He is survived by his wife Sharon, children, Shane Ward and wife Tamra, Misti Ward, Joanna Oneal and husband Tim, Joseph Ward and wife Sabrina and Michael Ward and wife Tawny Province-Ward, brothers Rodney and Ronnie, sisters Julie Seely, Lynn Campbell, and twenty-eight grandchildren.
