William James King

June 27, 1939 - January 15, 2022

William James King (Bill) was born in Escanaba Michigan on June 27, 1939 to Fred J. and Agnes R. (Martin) King.

Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1960 and again called to action 1961 to 1968 to support the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Bill Devoted his life to the service of the Lord he served as Emanuel Enid’s Chaplain to local Hospitals and Nursing Homes were he would share encouragement and love and prayers for all who needed, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and always sharing the gospel and the love of Christ to all, he had many Hobbies he loved wood working making things with his hands creating handmade jewelry arts and crafts, he was a devoted Husband and father Hard working and would do whatever it took to take care of his wife and family.

Bill will be missed by his family and many friends

He is survived by His 5 children. 3 sons Jess King, Barry King, and Terry King and his wife Sherry King. His 2 daughters Shawn Delaney and her husband Stephen Delaney and Yvette McAninch and her husband Stephen McAninch. Along with many grand children and great grand children and great great grand children. Along with his 2 fur babies Lucy and Chelsea. His brother Roy (Barb) King of Escanaba MI. and His sister Diane Lay of Escanaba MI. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was proceeded in Death By His loving Wife Yenna Sue King Of 62 Years and his Son Gary King and His parents Fred J. and Agnes R. (Martin) King, brothers, David (Jackie) King, Maurice King, Dwaine R. King of Escanaba MI and sister, Fay (Bill) Flath.

Celebration of life services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Kelly Kronkite officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Silver Talon Honor Guard with Vance Air Force Base. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
