.The services celebrating the life of Mr. W. E. “Mickey” Field, 66, formerly of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday January 4, 2017 in the Enid Cemetery Chapel. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
He was born in Enid, Oklahoma on May 11, 1950 to W.E. and Ruth Field and passed from this life on December 23, 2016. Mickey attended Enid Public Schools and earned a Bachelor's degree from Kansas University and a Master's degree from Columbia University. Before retiring, Mickey was employed in the oil and gas industry.
He is survived by three sons Tony Field, Tom and wife Windi Field of Springtown, Texas, and Tim and wife Darlene Field of Grandbury, Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two sisters, Ruth Buller-of Enid, and Roberta Maly of Nowata, Ok. and sister-in-law, Janie Kappes, of Maysville, Ok.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, sister, two brothers, and his infant son Mickey.
Mickey had a generous heart and loved his family very much.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
