Bill was born at Woodward Hospital on April 12, 1944 to Henry and Virgie (LeMarr) North. He graduated in 1962 from Mooreland High School. He worked with many companies in the oil field. After the oil field, he worked for the Garfield County in District 1, running the bulldozer, where he retired in 2014. In April 2015, he was diagnosed with acute leukemia. He attended St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with his wife, Karen throughout their marriage. In May, 2015, he joined the church. His goal was to celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary on July 3, 2021 and he made that goal.
He had a long battle and fought hard through the last six years of his life.
He was preceded in death by both his parents; his sister, Linda Johndrow and her husband, Gary.
Bill is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Sonya; brother, Robert and his wife, Eudeana, and numerous family and friends.
