The Memorial Service for Willia Mae Floyd Lucas, age 84, will be at 2:00 P.M Monday, February 8, 2016, at Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent, Burial will be in Knowles Cemetery, south of Crescent. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Willia Mae was born to Roy and Chleo (Laws) Clifton on March 31, 1931, in Leedey, and passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in Enid.
She grew up in Custer County. Willia Mae married Pete Floyd on January 17, 1948 in Shawnee, where they made their home. In 1960, they moved to Crescent where Willia Mae had a beauty shop in her home. Willia Mae enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, crocheting, quilting, vacationing in Colorado, and was on a bowling league for many years. On April 22, 1986, Pete passed. Willia Mae later married Max Lucas in April 1995, and they enjoyed music, dancing and dressing up for Halloween.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary “Kathy” Sullivan of Putnam, Treva Roder and husband Glenn of Hennessey, Lorrie Fuxa and husband Duane of Marshall; one son, Harold Floyd and wife Diane of Woodward; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; six great great- grandchildren.
Willia was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
