ENID, Okla. - Freihofer Casting out of Norman, Oklahoma is searching for a "Joe" Stand-In/Double Still for the film WILDLIFE being shot in Enid. The stand-in would need to resemble actor Ed Oxenbould (Joe). The film is directed by Paul Dano.

Oxenbould is known for his roles in the film ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD VERY BAD DAY and M. Night Shyamalan's THE VISIT.

WILDLIFE also stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan.

The stand needs to be a Caucasian Male with blonde hair, 5'5", chest 32in, waist 28in, hips 31in, waist to ankle - 39in, shoulder to wrist - 19in, shoe 9. (Measurements and appearance must be very close since this stand-in will also work on camera as a photo double).

Filming begins in Oklahoma November 6 and will shoot on 5-day weeks until early December. Thanksgiving holiday ( 11/23-11/25) will be off. The stand-in will be expected to work nearly every day of filming. It's a perfect way for actors to learn the filmmaking process, while watching some the industry's top actors at work.

Rate for stand-ins is $10/hour with a guarantee of 8 hours per day. Anything over 8 hours will incur overtime. Travel and housing will not be provided. All on-set meals will be provided.

All stand-ins need to be over 18 years of age and absolutely must fit the height requirements to within one inch and no more.

Stand-ins appear on set whenever their actor is needed and are integral to filming. They watch rehearsals and then stand in place of the actor while lighting and camera are focused, performing the same moves as the actor.

First Group of Extras Needed for WILDLIFE Feature Film
The first call for extras has been announced for the feature film WILDLIFE, set to begin filming later this week in Oklahoma.

The film is the directorial debut of actor Paul Dano, and stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan.

Set in 1960, WILDLIFE is based on the 1990 Richard Ford novel of the same name. The film is co-written by Dano and Zoe Kazan and centers on the story of a teenage boy who witnesses the decay of his parents' marriage after their move to Montana.

The film is produced by Andrew Duncan and Alex Saks for June Pictures, and Jake Gyllenhaal and Riva Marker for Nine Stories. Oren Moverman, Ann Ruark, and Dano will also produce, while Kazan and Eddie Vaisman are executive producing. Providing local casting on the film is Chris Freihofer, CSA of Freihofer Casting. Coordinating extras casting will be Chantel Johnson of Freihofer Casting.

Filming will be in and around Enid, Oklahoma. Most extras will only be needed for one day.

Dano is known for his appearances in SWISS ARMY MAN, LOVE & MERCY, THERE WILL BE BLOOD and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. Gyllenhaal earned an AcademyA ward nomination for his role in BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN. His numerous appearances include DONNIE DARKO, JARHEAD, END OF WATCH, SOUTHPAW and NIGHTCRAWLER. Mulligan earned an Academy Award nomination for the film AN EDUCATION. She is also known for the films SUFFRAGETTE, THE GREAT GATSBY, INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS and PRIDE & PREJUDICE.

Pay for extras is $8/hour with a guarantee of at least 4 hours, though many extras will be needed for longer. Any extras required to attend a fitting will be compensated an additional $8.

FOREST FIRE FIGHTERS - Caucasian or Native American males, 25+. They can be clean-shaven or bearded, and they don't have to look like your average firefighter. These are people recruited from the nearby small towns in Montana to go into the woods to fight a wildfire. Some are poor, some are middle class, some just see it as their civic duty, but these are not professionals. Please include waist, inseam and jacket sizes in your submission email. (These roles may also play on November 8).
