Celebration of Life Service for Wendell B. Siewert, 83 of Enid, will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Graceway Baptist Church with the Reverend Kevin Strope and Craig Bruyn officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation with the family present will be Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Wendell was born on July 21, 1933 in Glencoe, Minnesota to Carl and Ilo Jungclaus Siewert and passed away on July 20, 2017 in Enid.

He grew up in Glencoe and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor Science degree in Business Administration with distinction. On June 20, 1955, Wendell married Mavis Miller in Sheffield, Iowa. He worked for General Electric for 19 years. He later worked at Honeywell, Raleigh Bicycles, and Union Equity. Wendell enjoyed being a square dance caller for over 25 years. He was a Sunday School teacher for 40 plus years. Wendell was a member of the Graceway Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, traveling in the RV, and meeting new people and witnessing for His Lord.

Wendell was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Mavis; three children, Bradley and wife, Sally Siewert, Wendy Siewert-Nastor, and Jeffrey Siewert; six grandchildren, one great grandchild; a brother and his wife, Sheldon and Joy Siewert; other relatives and many friends.
