Funeral service for Virginia Morley will be Monday, May 6, 2024 at 2:00 pm in First Baptist Church of Enid with Jonathan Gilliland officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Our beautiful and amazing mom, Virginia Christine Morley, 84, of Enid, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 with her two boys standing at her side and holding her hands. She was born to Marvin and Juanita (Wallace) Devin on February 6, 1940, in Powell, Oklahoma. Virginia graduated from Kingston High School in May of 1958. She eloped and married Maurice Morley on November 5, 1959, in Madill, Oklahoma. Maurice and Virginia lived in Madill for six years, where their two sons, David Wayne and Greg Allen were born. They moved to Enid, Oklahoma in 1966. From 1976 to 2002, they lived in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Virginia played golf in Weatherford with the Womens’ Golf Association, where she had three holes in one. In 2002, they returned to Enid. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Enid and the TEL Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice in 2014; parents; and brother-in-lw, Larry Willford.
Virginia is survived by her two sons, David and wife, Jaymie Morley of Enid, and Greg Morley of Weatherford; one grandson and his wife, Michael and Taryn Morley of Enid; sister, Carolyn Willford of Mansfield, Texas; brother and his wife, Basil and Jane Devin of Mansfield, Texas; sister-in-law and her husband, Glenda and James Hunt of Longview, Texas; other relatives and friends.
