ENID, Okla. — Oklahoma City VA Health Care System will host three veterans resource fairs this month to inform veterans about and connect them with resources through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The events — offered to veterans, their families and caregivers — are Enid Veterans Resource Fair, 1-2:30 p.m. May 23, 2018, at the Northwest OK DAV office, 202 W. Walnut; Blackwell Veterans Resource Fair, 9-10:30 a.m. May 23, 2018, at VFW Post 2855, 1006 W. Ferguson in Blackwell; and Oklahoma City Veterans Resource Fair, 10 a.m. to noon May 31, 2018, at the Ground Floor Atrium, Oklahoma City VA Medical Center, 921 N.E. 13th.

The resource fairs provide veterans, caregivers and the public an opportunity to meet with representatives from various VA programs, including Veterans Benefits Administration, for claims questions; Native American Veterans Program; transition and care management; health promotion and disease prevention; suicide prevention; Veterans Choice Program; human resources; and eligibility department to enroll for VA health care.

Assistance also is available through the Veterans Experience Office at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, 921 N.E. 13th in Oklahoma City.
