A Celebration of Life Service for Velma L. Kuberskey age 84 of Enid will be 10:00 am Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Velma was born August 30, 1932 in Moody, TX to Oscar and Lennie Thomas Mayo and passed away at her home early Sunday, February 19, 2017. She married John Kuberskey on December 7, 1956 in Vernon, TX. Velma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved working in her yard. . She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband John of the home, daughter Vickie James and husband Dennis, son Terry Kuberskey and wife Jody all of Enid, grandsons Cory James and Shane James and wife Mandy, granddaughter Holli Bradford and husband Calvin, 5 great grandchildren, sister Louise Walton of Bolivar, MO, Cricket Gibbs of Borger, TX and Darlene Reese of Bolivar, MO and several other family members.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Andrew Kuberskey.
