A Celebration of Life Service for Vada “Bee” Killam age 96 of Enid will be 10:00 am, Monday at the New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Emily Robnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 4:00 at the funeral home.

Bea was born October 17, 1921 on a farm just south of Carrier to John C. and Manie Nay Bilderback and passed away November 20, 2017 in Greenbrier Nursing Center. She moved to Enid following her father’s death and graduated from Enid High School in 1938. She attended Phillips University. Bee married Marvin D. Killam on April 7, 1940 and he passed away January 24, 1985. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of United Methodist Women. Bee enjoyed playing bridge, playing golf and having family together. She volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital and also delivered Mobile Meals for many years. Bee served as a Den mother and Campfire leader.

She is survived by her daughter Gloria Cumpston and husband Chuck, sons Mark Killam and Mike Killam and wife Marti all of Enid, 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin and sons Pat and Lee, 3 sisters; Iva, Bertha, and Edith, and brother, Alvin.
