ENID, OK - Ward 2 Commissioner Derwin Norwood will host a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 at First Missionary Baptist Church, located at 467 East Owen K. Garriott Road. He will be discussing affordable, attainable housing ideas and manufactured housing proposals. This is open to all residents of Enid.
The City of Enid will explain the desire to rezone this area and answer questions prior to the two scheduled public hearings.
The first hearing will be at the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission meeting on Jan. 27 at 6:00pm.
The second hearing will be at the City of Enid Commission Meeting on Feb. 4 at 6:30pm.
Both meetings will be held at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Complex, at 401 W. Owen K. Garriott in the City of Enid Council Chambers.
The Council and the staff will respond to the topics or questions, but no decisions or votes will occur during town hall meeting.
