He was born February 15, 1947 in Dumas, Texas to Jocie and Betty Jones Shrum and passed from this life on May 30, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas.

He married Marie Schollenbarger on August 05, 1966 in Beaver, Oklahoma. He enjoyed playing his guitar and telling jokes. He would call his brothers and sisters almost every day. He loved attending any baseball game his grandson was playing in and loved putting puzzles together with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children LaTreasha Riggs, and husband Wesley, of Forgan, Oklahoma, Kimberly Tull, and husband Marvin, of Forgan, Texas, and Timothy Shrum, and wife Susan, of Slapout, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, siblings, Willa Mae Ullrich, Raymond Shrum, Hank Shrum, Loyd Paul Shrum, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brothers, Robert Shrum and Irven Lynn Shrum, and sister, Anna Pearl Huckens.
