The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Tim Allen Winkleman, 68, of Enid will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 13, 2024, in the Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Chick. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Tim was born November 15, 1955, to Roy and Arlene June Weber Winkleman in Watonga, Oklahoma and passed from this life July 8, 2024 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He attended Liberty School through second grade then was educated in Okeene Oklahoma graduating from Okeene high school where he was a star athlete playing football and basketball, graduating with the class of 1975. He then went on to attend Northern Oklahoma College, Tonkawa where he met and married Denise Lynn Reynolds on June 4, 1977, in Tonkawa. From this union came two children, Alyssa and Allen. The couple moved to Enid where he worked in the oil field, primarily as a rough neck and later for Hackney Steel for twenty years. After his career at Hackney, he began working for Scheffe’s Pharmacy doing equipment maintenance and set-up.
He enjoyed coaching his children while they played softball, football, and baseball in their youth. He loved to tinker and could fix anything. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church where he helped with the Children’s Sunday School classes and drove the church bus every Sunday for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Denise Winkleman, of the home, Daughter Alyssa Winkleman, of Enid, son Allen Winkleman and wife Hosun, of Tampa, FL, grandchildren, Eric, Rebekah and Rachel Winkleman, and one sister Tonya Huston.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Arlene Winkleman and one brother Tony Winkleman.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Bible Baptist Church Bus ministry with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
