The Living Center To Be Used As A Step Down Facility

ENID, OK - Crystal Reeves, Clinical Director, and Jennifer Barker, Director of Admissions for Enid Senior Care, Kenwood Manor and The Living Center, sent out a press release on Tuesday, March 31. They felt an urgent need to enact a policy that would protect the lives of their residents but also protect our local community.
-
They have created a step down facility for all COVID-19 positive or possible cross contaminated patients that have been discharged from the hospital. They have moved their residents from The Living Center to Enid Senior Care and Kenwood Manor to temporarily open a dedicated facility that will allow them to work with patients discharged from the hospitals needing a intermediate setting until they are COVID-19 negative and can either return to their nursing home or go back home.
-
They are hoping by being proactive they can protect the lives of their long term care workforce, residents and local community by working together. For more information, please contact Jennifer Barker, Director of Marketing & Admissions 580-327-7242.
