Funeral service for Terry Unruh, age 64, of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Lyle Buller officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Meno, with arrangements by Anderson- Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.
Terry was born September 20, 1952, in Enid, to Loren Edward and Wilma Mae (Sherman) Unruh, and passed away on, Sunday, April 09, 2017, in Enid.
Terry grew up in Lahoma, and graduated from Lahoma High School. He married Cheryl Morgan on April 20, 1972, and they made their home in Lahoma, and later moved to Enid. Terry worked as a heavy equipment operator, oilfield and highway construction, and was also a truck driver. He later married Priscilla Starr and they made their home in Ringwood.
He is survived by children Kandace Weakly (Brett), Teri Creel (Kyla Moulton); 3 grandchildren Tyler, Ciarra, Austyn; sister Willa Jean Chitwood (Robert); nieces; Priscilla Starr; step daughter Sonya (Tony) Johnson; several step grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, great niece Madison VanBuskirk, and step son Shannon Starr.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
