Funeral service celebrating Terry Carson, 82, of Fairmont, will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tim Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Terry was born December 9, 1936 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Alvin and Frances (Siegler) Carson, and passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019, in Enid.

Terry grew up in Garber and graduated high school in Ft. Scott, Kansas, in 1954. He then when to work for DC Bass & Son Construction. Terry married Carobelle Janssen and they had three sons. Later they divorced and he married Jean Waters in Ponca City, Oklahoma on May 4, 1979. Terry and Jean made their home in Fairmont.

He was preceded in death by his son Trey Carson, grandson Matthew, and his parents.

Terry is survived by his wife Jean; children Jerry Carson and Deanna, Chuck Carson and Helene, Danny Waters and Melisa, and Tad Waters and Shannon; grandchildren Gabriel Carson, Joshua and Lindsay Carson, Nicholas Carson, Kristina and Iscen Carlson, Andrea Waters, Ava Waters, Jackson Waters, Jameson Waters, Zachary Sandmeyer; great grandchildren McKinzi Carson, Myles Carson, Addison Carson, Luke Carson, Kennedy Carson, Lincoln Carlson; sister Judy and Drew Ackerman; nephew Christopher and Catherine Palmer; niece Jennifer Chancellor.
