ENID, OK - The Enid Public Library kicks off its summer reading program, Tails and Tales, June 4th from 2:00-7:00 PM. The library will host the A2Z Therapeutic Petting Zoo and set up giant games on the library’s East lawn.
Community members of all ages are invited to sign up for summer reading. The first 400 people who sign up on June 4 th will receive a free hardback copy of Rick Riordan’s The Hidden Oracle. Win books and other prizes by reading books and logging your minutes at enid.beanstack.org or by using the Beanstack app.
There will also be activities through August for all ages. Children’s activities include weekly outdoor games, story times in June, as well as story corners featuring guest readers in July. Tweens & Teens can attend Cosplay workshops, Dungeons & Dragons Tuesdays, Wednesday Arts & Crafts, Yoga Thursdays, and Financial Literacy. Activities for adults include volunteering in the pollinator garden, group walks, craft projects, and more. There will also be a community-wide gnome hunt featuring gnomes painted by local artists!
