Sue Lee Lingenfelter, 76, was born in Kingman, Kansas, to Carlin and Gyda (Campbell) Hasselbring and died in Alva on March 26, 2017. Sue retired from ALCO of Cherokee, OK and also served as secretary of the Firefighters Association of Nescatunga, OK for nine years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Ruby Holloway, and Sheryl Switzer; brother David Goldsmith; and Great-Granddaughter Krysta Lujan. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Garry L Lingenfelter of the home; sons, Terry (Mary) Boydston of Wichita KS, Duane Boydston of Layton Utah, Darrell Boydston of Nescatunga, Garry Lingenfelter of Bates City MO; daughters Robin (Todd) Farley of Fulton MO, Serena Smith of Covington, Karen (Anthony) Schmitt of Ellinwood KS, Rochelle (Larry) Hicks of Grain Valley MO; brother George (Joyce) Hasselbring of Hutchinson KS; sisters Mary Chinn and Peggy Lonam both of Hutchinson KS; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
