A Celebration of Life for Steven Culbertson, age 45, will be at 2:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2016, at the Circle of Life Event Center, 3022 N. Van Buren, Enid. Casual attire is appropriate. It was Steve’s decision to donate his body to Lifeshare. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Steven was born to Charles and Vicki (Goodson) Culbertson on December 9, 1970, in Oklahoma City, and passed away Monday, November 14, 2016, in Enid.
Steven grew up in Texas City, Texas, and then graduated from Hominy High School. He then served in the U.S. Army. In 2002, Steven married Megan Roberts in Enid, where they made their home. They had two sons, Jakob and Joshua. Steven worked at KOCH before relocating to Yukon. He moved back to Enid in May 2015, and worked at Envirotech. Steven loved his truck, making people laugh, and his two boys were the love of his life.
He is survived by his mother, Vicki Wilson and her husband Dennis of Enid; two sons, Jakob and Joshua Culbertson, and Megan Culbertson of Yukon; grandmother Mary Goodson of Enid; ex-stepfather John Carver of Oklahoma City; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends, including two great friends Ray and Jerry.
Steven was preceded in death by his father Charles Culbertson; his grandfather and hero Robert Goodson; his aunt Shellie; and grandparents Charles and Phyllis Culbertson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Enid SPCA or Furever Friends.
