The services celebrating the life of Steven D. Lazell, 62, of Enid will be 3:00PM, Sunday 17, 2016 at the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Frisbee officiating. Private family burial at the Thomas Cemetery at a later date. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Steven was born May 24, 1953 in Thomas, Oklahoma to Elden David and Allena Elizabeth (Conkling) Lazell. He was raised in Thomas and attended the Thomas Public Schools. He later moved to Enid in 1965 where he worked and lived at the Enid State School. Steven was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Thomas. He felt right at home in the great outdoors. He truly loved football, especially O.U. and his teddy bears.
Steven is survived by his sister Patricia Chambers of Rose Hill, KS; 2 nieces, Sheena Taylor and KayCee Wilson.
Steven is preceded by his parents.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation of teddy bears be made.
