ENID, Okla. - The 14th Annual Hanor Smokin’ Red Dirt BBQ Cook-Off comes to downtown Enid this month. This event is a sanctioned Kansas City Barbecue Society state competition, as well as a community celebration.

The festivities kick-off Tuesday, April 19 with the Pioneer Cellular Student Art Show Honors Exhibit at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, 6:00pm.

There is a big change this year. There will NOT be a People’s Choice BBQ Event on Friday evening. It is being replaced with Bob's BaconFest.

Do you love bacon? Then Bob's BaconFest is where you want to be! The first annual Bob's BaconFest kicks off Friday, April 26 at 6:00pm at the Stride Bank Center. Taste test all the BaconFest competition dishes for only $10!

Saturday begins with the Enid Noon AMBUC's lunch from 11:00am to 1:30pm at Stride Bank Center. Lunch tickets are $8 a plate and will be sold at the door. The public is invited to a day of fun and food. There will be live music and other events from 11:00am to 3:30pm.

Throughout the day on Saturday, judges will be sampling and scoring BBQ from dozens of BBQ Teams. The KCBS contest ceremony will take place at 3:30pm.
