Memorial service for Sidney John Pearcy, 64 of Waukomis, will be 10:00 AM, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Barrick officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Sidney was born on October 21, 1959 in Enid to William Silas and Bettie Josephine (Tribble) Pearcy and passed away at his home in Waukomis.
Sidney grew up in the Nash area and graduated from Jet-Nash High School in 1977. He also attended Autry Vo-tech where he received his aircraft mechanics degree. In 1978 he moved to Waukomis. Sidney was self-employed and worked on hydraulic jacks. He was a member and attended Enid First Assembly of God Church.
Sidney is preceded in death by his parents William and Bettie Pearcy, brother in law Bryan Burkinshaw, great niece Josephine Marie Acuff, and his great nephew Peder Isaac Moluf. He is survived by his brother Silas Pearcy, and his sisters and their spouses Diana Burkinshaw, Joyce and Rev. Ronnie Mask, Dr. Carol and Dr. Jeff Howard, Linda and Brent Beebe, Dr. Rev. Patti and Dr. Randy Gallagher, and Melody Leggett, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
