Funeral services for Shirley, 82 of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Willow View United Methodist Church with Reverend Mark McAdow officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until service time. Burial will follow in the Bison Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Shirley grew up on the farm her mother was born on, in Breckenridge, Oklahoma. She attended Union Country School through the 6th grade when the school was closed. She then attended Garber and graduated in 1953. In May 1954 she was united in marriage to John E. Morris, in Enid. Shirley endured hardships in her life, but did so with dignity and grace, sacrificing her own desires to raise 4 children on her own. Shirley was employed by Janzen GMC in Enid for 20 years. On May 3, 1997, she married Robert G. Mack in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and they made their home on the farm at Bison until May 2009.

Shirley was a member of the Willow View United Methodist Church. She was active with the Garfield County Fair and worked for the Election Board. Shirley loved playing cards of all kinds, was an avid OSU Cowboy, and OKC Thunder fan and loved watching all sports, especially those of her grandchildren. Most notably, Shirley was a loving mother, doting grandmother, thoughtful sister and aunt, and a generous friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, 4 sisters, Betty, Mary, Elsie, and Ramona; and a brother James.

She is survived by her children, Norman Morris of Kansas City, Mo., Beverly Morris and husband James Nogalski of Tulsa, Mitzi Riggs and husband David of Orlando, OK, and Mark Morris and wife Tracy of Edmond; 9 grandchildren; Allison Hiatt and husband Daniel, Megan Sweeney and husband Shagan Overman, Leon Riggs and wife Hope, Rachel and Matthew Nogalski, Eli and Grace Riggs, Campbell and Ella Morris; 5 great grandchildren Samantha, Hudson, Rowan, Jasmine, and Ethan; 1 sister, Velma Ferguson of Houston.
