Memorial services for Sharon “Sherri” Lounsbury, 70, will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Meyer officiating. Private inturnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sherri was born on October 12, 1946 in Enid to Leonard and Barbara Smith and was granted her angel wings on December 16, 2016 in Enid, surrounded by family and friends.
Sherri grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. She enjoyed time with family and friends, reading and had an undeniable love for animals. Sherri’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Smith; sister, Deborah Toews; grandmother, Rose Stanley.
Sherri is survived by her mother, Barbara Smith of Enid; two nieces and their husbands, Beth and John Bendon, and children, Tyler, Addalyn, and Ryker of Vestaburg, Michigan, Kymber and Aaron Heinze and their children, Zaden and Melaina of Hudsonville, Michigan; good friend, Debra Lounsbury of Enid.
