A private burial for Sharon Hampton, age 74, of Enid, was held at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. There will be no public service per her request.
Sharon was born to John and Mildred (Brooks) Horn on April 11, 1942, in Cherokee, and passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016, in Enid.
Sharon graduated from Carmen High School, and attended business school in Enid upon graduation. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and reading. Sharon worked at Vance as an Information Tech, retiring after 46 years. Sharon was a Thunder and O.U. fan.
She is survived by two sisters, Anita Hughbanks and husband Tipton of Attica, Kansas, and Nina Ricke and husband Melvin of Aline; nephews and nieces, Craig and Jaime Ricke, Tatum and Trendon of Alva, Crystal and James Harmon, Hayden of Enid, Bradley Wray of Attica, Ethan and Jenna.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Richard.
