Louise Owens, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 in her home with family members by her side. She was 81. She was born near Ralston, the daughter of Jack and Della Carruth.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 12th at 2pm at Bethseda Assembly of God of Blackwell with Jared Shoultz, pastor, officiating. Her ashes will be laid to rest beside her husband Claude Owens in Blackwell Cemetery.
Her family has requested memorial contributions be made in her name to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview, Ponca City, Ok 74601
She and her family lived in the Blackwell area and she graduated from Blackwell High School in 1954. She met the love of her life, Claude Allen Owens and on Sept. 2, 1954, they were married. From there their family grew to include five children.
Louise is survived by her two sons, Robert Owens and Terry Owens and spouse Kelli, three daughters, Tamera Martin, Lisa Smith and her spouse Scott, and Devra Byers and spouse Jeff. Along with 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
