A Graveside Service for Roy D. Semrad age 62 of Waukomis will be 2:00 pm Tuesday September 27, 2022 at the Waukomis Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Donaldson officiating under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Roy was born December 20, 1959 in Enid to Robert E. and Frances (Yanda) Semrad and passed away September 23, 2022 in the OU Medical Hospital. He attended and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1978, where he excelled in basketball and track. He farmed with his parents and later he went to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. Roy had acting parts in Knight Rider, Dynasty, and Dallas. He returned home to the farm, purchased a Semi Truck and spent his last years on the highway. Roy traveled coast to coast enjoying the beautiful scenery.
He is survived by his sisters; Janice Creek and husband Ed, Marlene Gelsthorpe, Peggy Kenaga and, brother Gary Semrad, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His companion Teresa Gorton enjoyed traveling the countryside with him for the past few years.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
