Graveside services for Rosie Kochenower, 95, El Reno, will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Omega Cemetery, Northwest of Omega in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma with Pastor Donald Hefta officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Rosie was born on November 18, 1920 in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, the daughter of William and Ella Ritner Ronspiez, and passed away peacefully on September 29, 2016 in El Reno. She worked on the family farm as a child while attending the El Reno School System. Rosie married Arthur L. Kochenower on September 10, 1939. He preceded her in passing in 1989. They farmed in Kingfisher County for around 20 years and move to Watonga. Rosie moved back to El Reno in 2000. Survivors include her son, Norman Kochenower of Enid and daughter Barbara Ann Arndt of El Reno; four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Rosie was preceded in passing by her parents, seven brothers and one sister.
