Funeral service for R.D. Weeks, of Enid, will be 11:00 AM, Friday, February 14, 2020 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Mike Whitehead officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 PM, in Elmwood Cemetery, in Woodward under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

R.D. was born on November 18, 1936 in Woodward, Ok, to M.R. “Buck” and Charlette (White) Weeks, and passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at his home in Enid.

R.D. attended Woodward Schools and graduated from WHS in 1956. He worked as a route salesman in Kansas and Oklahoma, and he also sold real estate in Wichita, Kansas. R.D. retired from Lance Inc. in Bethany, Oklahoma in 1993.

R.D. married Patricia (Patty) Patton on January 10, 1970 in Woodward. They celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. R.D. and Patty lived in Wichita, Kansas, Muskogee, Enid, Bethany, Woodward and returned to Enid in 2008.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Patty; his 4 sons Stephen McCubbin and Toni of Humble, Texas, Michael Weeks, Kevin and Tracy Weeks, Evan and Angela Weeks all of Woodward; 1 daughter Shelley and Glenn Mayberry of Garland, Texas; 1 brother Darold and Wanda Weeks of Woodward; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hynes, and Mr. and Mrs. Homer White.
