The Services celebrating the life of Roger Dale Reiss, 60, of Enid, will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Heartland place on the Eighty-One Ranch with the Reverend Jim Harvey officiating, cremation will follow. Services and complete care cremation are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Roger was born in Lyons, Kansas to Dale Reiss and Judy Elizabeth on January 11, 1955 grew up in Woodard and attend Woodward High School graduating in 1971. After High school he enlisted in the United States Navy where he honorably served his country for four years. He returned to Woodward and worked in the Construction and Oil Industries. On He later moved to Enid where he worked at Marsau for over 33 years starting as a truck operator and working his way up to foreman and sales person. Roger married Mary on March 1st, 2008.
Roger is survived by his wife Mary Spillman Minnick Reiss of the home, Step Mother Judy; Sons Jamie Reisner and his wife Trina, John Reiss and Tony Minnick; Daughters, Amy Reiss, Joy Hendrick; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren, a half-sister Brenda and husband Bryon Johnson of Bangor, Wisconsin.
