A service to celebrate the life of Robert Lee Johns, age 80 of Enid, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Al McVety officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family present will be Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Robert was born July 20, 1936 in Enid to John L. and Blanche Beardsley Johns, and died Friday, June 16, 2017 in Enid.

He married Verna Eck on August 23, 1968, at Meno, Ok, and they made their home in Enid. He worked for various construction companies in Enid, and retired from Memorial Park Cemetery. He always loved spending time with family, and attended Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church.

In addition to his wife Verna, Robert is survived by his children; Rob Johns of Plainsville, TX, Jeff Johns of Enid, Kevin Johns and wife Rachel of Williamsburg, VA, and Stephanie Blackburn and her husband Anthony of Enid, 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
