The graveside service for Robert L. Stricker will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Glenwood Cemetery, Ringwood, OK with Dr. Greg Hook officiating. A visitation with family will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.
Robert was born May 3, 1931 to Robert Earl and Mary Belle (Lee) Stricker in Ringwood and passed away March 30, 2017 at his home in Enid.
Robert attended area schools and after graduating from Enid High in 1949 he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict. On his return Robert enrolled in Oklahoma State University where he met Martha Jane Hildabrand the love of his life. The couple married July 20, 1957 in Enid. Robert worked for Champlin Refining Co. and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation before retiring in 1988 after which the couple moved to Branson, MO until they returned to Enid in 2005. Robert enjoyed yard work, fishing, and wood working but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Robert is survived by his wife, Jane; children, Jerry Stricker and wife, Cindy; Shanna Adams; Janna Walters and husband, Mark; Grandchildren, Matt and wife Jenni; Jayme; Katey and husband, Morgan; Jennifer and husband, Tommy; Daniel and wife, Lacey; Joshua and wife, Kelsy; and Micah (deceased); great-grandchildren, Karson, Jordan, Taylor, Gracey, Dylann, Charley Ann and Averee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Richard Stricker.
Memorials may be made to Children’s Miracle Network with the Funeral Home acting as custodians of the fund.
