Robert “Bob” Dean Ehlen ran with a tight crowd of yahoos and has been causing trouble with his quick wit and mischievous sense of humor since October 16, 1931.

A proud veteran, all-American farmer, and lovingly referred to as “Bus Driver Bob,” he could frequently be found enjoying a cold burger and a frosty beer. Bob loved his family fiercely and while his strength and tenacity always shone through, he never took life too seriously. Combine rides around the wheat field often led to pondering of Bigfoot, while sleepovers under the stars combined astronomy with ghost stories that would leave you unable to sleep for a week.

On Sunday, April 7th, Bob joined his Daddy in heaven, leaving behind his wife of 58 years, Jo Ehlen, brother, Jack Ehlen of Enid, children, Beverly Archuleta of Albuquerque, Janet Ehlen-Hecker of Denver, Grant Ehlen of Oklahoma City, Karol Riley of Stillwater, and Linda Ehlen of Wichita, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren with promises to haunt each and every one of them. Please join us in a celebration of life on Sunday, April 14th 2-4pm at the First Christian Church in Waukomis.
