The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Richard “Richey” Hart Jr. 50, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 27, 2024, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Richard John “Richey” Hart Jr., 50, of Enid, was born October 4, 1973, to Richard John Hart Sr. and Bessie Oxford in Great Falls, Montana and passed from this life April 24, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
In the first years of life, he traveled to Germany following his father’s military career; in 1977 the family moved to Enid, Oklahoma, where he was raised and educated until moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming for one year to be with his father and then moving to Colorado Springs and graduating high school in Colorado Springs. After graduating he moved back to Enid. He began working as a truck driver and then as a private carpet instructor until he was medically disabled. He enjoyed painting, reading, coloring, watching sci-fi movies, a good meal, and was an avid fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys football team.
He is survived by his mother Bessie Oxford, of Enid; Father Richard J. Hart Sr, of Hagerstown MD, two brothers, Mike Rose, of Milton FL, and Timothy Hart, of Milton FL
