Memorial services for Richard Clinton Jackson, 78, of Enid will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Cremation arrangements and services are under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Richard was born May 23, 1942 in Curtis, Oklahoma to Walter and Leotice (Barnett) Jackson and passed away October 3, 2020. Richard graduated from Moreland High School in 1961. He served in the United States Navy for four years. He was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia and also went to Germany and Spain. In September of 1961, he married Helen Caruthers. During that time Richard worked for Halliburton first as a roughneck, then as an Acid Treater. Richard loved to fish and on his weekends at home, he loved to go to the movies.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Justina Williams and her husband David of Enid; son, Ricky Jackson of Enid; grandchildren, Clint Jackson and his wife Jennifer of Utah, Candice Prichard; great grandchild, Celeste Jackson of Utah.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; seven siblings and his paternal grandparents.
