Rex Allen Martin

Celebration of Life Service for Rex Allen Martin, will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:00 am in AB Event Center, 3022 N. Van Buren.

Rex Allen Martin, age 86, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Jully 17, 2023, with family by his side. He entered this life July 25, 1936, the son of Lloyd and Mabel (Smith) Martin in May, Oklahoma. Rex was joined in marriage to Glenda Joyce Jolley on December 24, 1980.

Rex proudly served our country in the United States Army and earned the rank of sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing, and spending time with his family. After his time in the military, he earned his Mast of Education. Rex was a teacher for many years, before finding his love for sales. He was a fun-loving jokester who loved to tease people. The memories and moments created throughout an incredible lifetime will be cherished by all who knew Rex.

Rex is survive by his wife of forty-two years, Glenda martin of Branson, Missouri; six children; Mark (Laura Maixner) Martin of Enid, Oklahoma, Jerry (Kathy) Martin of Enid, Oklahoma, Kim (Janelle) Martin of Enid, Oklahoma Tami (David) Buss of Hunter, Oklahoma, Ty (Jannifer) Craig of Hunter, Oklahoma, and Travis (Erica) Craig of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and nephews, Kirk and Greg Bottenhamer.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lavena Jeter.
