ENID, OK - Multiple local restaurants have recently announced they will be closing their doors, marking a significant loss to the Enid eatery scene. The loss of these eateries is deeply felt by the community, as many had become social hubs and staples in Enid’s dining landscape.
PrimeTime Sports Bar & Grill opened in May of 2024 after the closure of Land Run Steakhouse located at 710 W. Garriott. The same owners tried a relaunch switching from an upscale steakhouse to a sports bar. A surprise announcement was made on social media on Wednesday, October 16 that the eatery would be closing.
PrimeTime will close permanently on Thursday, October 31. Customers with gift cards should stop by soon to redeem their cards or get their money back before the the closing date.
Costello’s Continental Cuisine has been serving Enid for almost 19 years, enough time to see both Costello children work there as kids before going on to earn college degrees. The family announced on social media that all good things come to an end, and with Edmund ready to ride off into retirement, it’s almost their time to say farewell, too.
Costello’s Continental Cuisine will close its doors at the turn of the year, just after its 19th anniversary. Their final evening with you will be Tuesday, December 31st. So, if you’ve never dined with them, or if you’d like to say goodbye, or if you just happen to have a gift card you need to put to use, now is the time to honor them with a visit. Located in Sunset Plaza.
Sparky's Eatery located at Garriott and Cleveland closed their doors in September of 2024. There was no announcement but the store was cleaned out and a message on their online page said the location was permanently closed. The location in Hennessey on Main St. remains open.
