ENID, OK - It's called Direct Primary Care. DPC operates with no insurance, cutting out third-party restrictions, seeing fewer patients, allowing practices to give you access to more benefits in your care. Direct Primary Care Members pay a low monthly fee, and get unlimited office visits, discount prices on prescription medication, your doctor's cell phone number, and a whole lot more.
-
But Reliant Health & Wellness doesn't only do DPC. They are a hybrid DPC practice, they are able to maximize their offerings to meet any of your family’s healthcare needs. They offer both Direct Primary Care and traditional insurance care. This means that you have two great options for health care, both with doctors who put you first. One without insurance through a monthly fee, and one through the traditional insurance route.
-
The “hybrid” in hybrid DPC actually refers to the existence of two distinct payment options, instead of a “hybrid” payment method wherein patients pay both a membership fee and use their insurance to cover care. It’s the practice itself—with a panel made up of both DPC patients and fully-insured patients using their insurance.
-
Reliant limits their practice to a few hundred patients per doctor. This means that your provider spends more time with you when you need him or her. You'll receive unlimited office visits so you can forget scheduling appointments weeks in advance. Typically you'll get a same or next-day appointment - and it'll be free.
-
They offer high-quality care to kids, adults, and geriatric patients. This includes chronic disease management (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc), mental health, urgent care, sports medicine, and annual physicals.
-
Minor labs and procedures, like minor suturing, cryotherapy, and skin biopsy are all included in your membership fee. If there is an extra charge for a service, you will know exactly what it is before proceeding. There are special labs and procedures that may require an additional fee. Members receive a discounted price for these special labs and procedures.
-
Reliant dispenses medications in-house, so they can offer medications to you at greatly discounted price. For many medications, the price they offer is less than your co-pay at a pharmacy. If you take medications for chronic conditions, the savings on medications alone may be greater than your entire membership fee.
-
As a hybrid practice, Reliant also has doctors who serve you traditionally, via your insurance. Both routes of service offer you the finest care, under distinctly different models. Go to the website to check out the many insurance plans they accept!
