Raymond Loyd Kaiser

February 22, 1932 - September 4, 2021

Celebration of life service for Raymond Loyd Kaiser, 89 of Covington will be 10:00 AM Wednesday September 8, 2021, at First Baptist Church Covington with Rev. Phillip Gregg officiating. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Raymond was born February 22, 1932, in Marshall, Oklahoma to George Henry and Alice (Vaughan) Kaiser and passed away peacefully on September 4, 2021, in Oklahoma City.

Raymond attended and graduated from Hayward High School. On August 18, 1972, he married Lillie Marie Hejduk and they joined their families together to reside in Covington. Raymond farmed in the Covington area until his retirement. In addition to farming, he also was a soldier in the Army where he proudly served his country. He had several different types of employment through the years including the oil field, construction, and NORCE with the State of Oklahoma, where he worked as a plumber. He eventually did retire from working the land but could never completely give up being a farmer. He always had cows on his pasture. He loved going to his farm, checking his cows to make sure they were taken care of and making sure there was no problems with them during calving. In addition to farming, Raymond also loved to go fishing, visiting museums, and listening to country and bluegrass music. But most of all, Raymond was a family man. He was a great provider and a loving and devoted husband and father. He was a very generous man and always made sure everyone had everything they ever needed. Raymond truly loved his wife and family, and his heart was broken when his wife, Lillie passed away. But we can all take comfort in that they have been reunited, his broken heart mended, and he is now pain free in Heaven with his Lord and Savior.

Raymond is survived by his sons; Steve (Debbie) Hobson, Allen (Patty) Hobson, Donnie (Cherie) Kaiser, Larry Kaiser, Jeremy (Sara) Kaiser; daughters Dianna Cathey, Terry (George) Dillman, and Brenda (Mike) Schram; brother Irvin Kaiser; sisters Pauline Meyer, and Georgia Curtis; and numerous grand grandchildren, great grand children, one great great grand child, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lillie, his parents, and his son David Kaiser.
