The Graveside services celebrating and honoring the life of Raymond Lee Fuqua, 84, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 11, 2019 in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Raymond Lee Fuqua, 84, of Enid, Oklahoma passed away on April 30, 2019. Ray was born to Newton and Offie Fuqua in Waynoka, Oklahoma on July 23, 1934. He graduated from Waynoka High School in 1952 and received his Associates Degree in 1982 through the Armed Forces Educational System. He married Jean Ford on September 2, 1956, and they lived the Air Force life, residing in Florida, Texas, Alaska, Kansas, Germany and New York before settling in Enid, Oklahoma.

Ray served twenty-eight years in the United States Air Force before retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He then worked fourteen years for Loomis Fargo. Ray was active in the Boy Scouts of America, Enid Red Cross, Enid Running Club and Leonardo's Children Museum, volunteering countless hours to their benefit.

He leaves as his legacy two children: son, David (and his wife, Robin) and son, Darryl as well as three grandchildren: Dusty, Cody (and his wife, Sally) and Brynn and daughter-in-law, Novella. He also leaves one brother, Norman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; son, Duane; brothers, Lloyde, John, and Albert and sisters, Betty, Beverly, Anita and Garoldene.

In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests that donations be made to Leonardo's Children's Museum in Ray's name. Donations can be made online at Leonardos.org/donate.html with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
