Railroad Museum Closed June 25-27

ENID, OK - The Railroad Museum of Oklahoma will be closed Tuesday through Thursday, June 25-27, 2024 while two construction projects take place.

The center room in the museum will have a large part of its floor repainted in preparation for a rearranging and expansion of the exhibits contained in that area. Although painting will be done on the previous Sunday, sufficient curing time will be needed before displays are put back in place.

Also during that time a new, concrete sidewalk will be created near the east end of the Frisco 1519 steam engine. This will replace the current, dilapidated brick walkway which is becoming a safety hazard.
