ENID, OK - It's that time of year again! The Annual Rabies Shot Clinic! It will be held Sunday, April 7 12pm-5pm at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center 111 W. Purdue.
The cost will be $10 for rabies and city tag. If your pet already been vaccinated and you just need a city tag bring out your proof of rabies shot and get your city tag at a discount. Licenses are valid from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 in the year they are purchased.
ALL PETS MUST BE PROPERLY CONTAINED BY LEASH AND/OR CARRIER.
Payment for the fee can be made in cash or by personal check. No credit or debit cards will be taken at the event.
A license is required for every dog, cat or potbellied pig over the age of 6 months. By registering the animals, it will allow for identification of the owner should the pet become lost or stolen.
Animals that are not socialized, or are known to bite, should be fitted with a muzzle. Those with smaller breed animals are encouraged to transport them to the clinic in a carrier. All other animals should be kept on a short leash.
Records of registration will be kept by Enid Police Department.
