Quilt Guild Presentation With Special Guest

ENID, OKLA.- Randa Parrish, Owner of Prairie Quilt in Hennessey, Okla. will be presenting at the Cherokee Strip Piecemakers Quilt Guild on February 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m at Oakwood Christian Church.

Parrish will be sharing the latest trends in the quilting industry, including color and design. She will also be showing the newest gadgets while discussing time saving tips. Specialty rulers and quilts made using those rulers will be showcased, and she will share how the tools are utilized.

Non-guild members are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting as well. There will also be a pop up shop with merchandise from Prairie Quilt, which is Oklahoma’s Largest Quilt Shop.

The Cherokee Strip Piecemakers Quilt Guild is based in Enid, Oklahoma, and is dedicated to the art of quilting and community service for all skill levels. Their mission is to preserve the heritage and art of quilting, to be a source of information, education, and inspiration, and to be a gathering place for people with a common interest.

The Guild meets the 3rd Monday of the month at Oakwood Christian Church, 401 N. Oakwood. Social time begins at 6:00pm and the meeting runs from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Meetings include monthly speakers, a project showcase, sewing tips and fellowship. Learn more about the group on their Facebook Page.
