Phyllis Marie Morgaridge (Hill)

March 24th 1949 - June 12, 2024

Phyllis Marie (Hill) Morgaridge was born to Shade Hill and Garnett (Howard) Hill in Inez, Kentucky on March 24th 1949. The second of their nine children.

Phyllis was a sassy southern soul who lived in several states throughout her life. She was raised in Kentucky where she had her daughter Betty (Setser) Kliewer. Phyllis then moved to Michigan and had her son Link Allen Setser From there she went on to West Virginia, Indiana, and Arizona. In 1981 Phyllis moved to Enid, Oklahoma and in 1994 met her husband Harry Lee Morgaridge who she lived the last 30 years loving and taking care of. Phyllis was a master gardener and a Kentucky Wildcats fan through and through and never missed a game. In her younger days she loved playing bingo, traveling and spending all her time with her grandkids. Phyllis enjoyed her blue grass music, garage selling, Sonic Diet Cokes, telling jokes, her puppies that she treated like her kids (Holly, Dodger, and Sadie) but most importantly loved Jesus and knowing her salvation was secure since he died on that old rugged cross. Phyllis was one of a kind and everyone knew when she was in any room. Phyllis was blessed to get to meet and love all of her great grandchildren who will miss her so much.

Phyllis is proceeded in death by her parents, 3 of her siblings Ralph Hill, Randy Hill, and Glenda Daniels, step daughter Samantha Morgaridge, step grandson Joshua Rainey, brother in law Garry Morgaridge, in laws, Jean Hill, Carol Hill, and Gary Crum. She is survived by her Husband Harry Lee Morgaridge of Enid, daughter Betty (David) Kliewer of Enid, Son Link Setser of Enid, Step daughter Kristy (Tim) Sturgeon of Fairview, granddaughters Kaci (Jonathan) Carpenter of Enid, Kylie (Sam) Telinde Enid, Laura (Derek) Forney of Canton, stepgrandson Kuyler Sturgeon of Fairview, step grandson Matthew Rainey of Odessa, great grandchildren Ethan Carpenter, Gavin Carpenter, Nathaniel Forney, Raegan Carpenter, Benjamin Telinde, Samuel Forney, Trinity Forney, Cullin Carpenter, and Kailyn Carpenter, Siblings Dale (Janet) Hill, John Hill, Debrah (Paul) Spears, Dedra (Michael) Williamson, Eleanor Crum, and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Monday evening June 17th from 6PM-8PM at 1818 W. Chestnut Trinity Baptist Church in Enid Oklahoma

Service will be held Tuesday morning, June 18th at 10 AM at Trinity Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Kremlin Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
