The services celebrating and honoring the life of Patricia Black, 71, of Wichita Kansas will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday June 13, 2022, in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Patricia (McElfresh) Black was born March 5, 1951, to James Albert and Coy May (Milam) McElfresh in Enid, Oklahoma
She was 71 years old when she decided to lay down and rest on June 6, 2022, in Wichita, Kansas.
She was raised and educated in Ames Oklahoma. She married Lloyd E. Black Sr. and form this union came four children. They were married for fifty years at the time of his death. She worked in the nursing industry and later for Advance Foods and at the Enid News and Eagle with her husband delivering newspaper bundles all over the state of Oklahoma. She enjoyed spending time with her family and keeping her husband company while he fished.
She is a grandmother of several. She was also a great grandmother of several.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd E. Black Sr.; and one son Lloyd E. Black Jr. She proceeds with several siblings and her mother Coy M. Wendt.
Survivors of Patricia is two daughters Geneva Moore, of Wichita, Kansas, Anna Mae Wheeler, of Enid, Oklahoma; one son Daniel Black, of Wichita, Kansas; and one son in law Chad Moore, of Wichita, Kansas. Patricia is also a sister of several siblings as well.
